Helping to break barriers
What is it about movement? It gives us strength and builds our confidence. It challenges us to go further, and push harder. It breaks down the barriers we set ourselves, and those set for us by others. When we’re moving, anything feels possible.
Sure has always believed in the transformational power of movement. And we’re acting now to create the world we want to see – one where millions of young people are empowered with the confidence and access they need to move freely.
RIGHT TO MOVE
We believe everyone has the right to move – no matter who you are, where you grow up, or however you want to move
Because movement has the power to break barriers; enabling young people to develop vital skills – such as teamwork and resilience – that will strengthen them throughout their lives. Movement builds confidence and teaches them how to overcome failures and adversities. It also has the power to unite communities and change lives.
‘The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practising sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play’
International Olympic Committee (IOC) (BBC)
SURE BREAKING LIMITS PROGRAM
Everyone should have the right to move, but in our increasingly unequal societies, social, economic, and physical barriers stand in the way.
We are on a mission to empower millions of young people with the right to move. We’re partnering with the most credible NGOs to provide young people with access to movement-based programmes, coaching and mentorship they need to transform their lives through the power of movement.
We are also training coaches and mentors around the globe, equipping them with the tools and skills they need to inspire everyone with the confidence to move more.
POWERFUL PARTNERSHIPS
Globally, we are partnering with Beyond Sport to support us on our journey to help millions of young people around the world transform their lives through the power of movement.
